La sinonimia tra proposizioni coordinate: expolitio e interpretatio nella Commedia di Dante

This contribution focuses on coordinated synonymous clauses in Dante’s Commedia. After having clarified the rhetorical value of this particular syntactic construction (with the help of both ancient and modern interpretations), the analysis focuses on its individual occurrences, illustrating the different ways in which the synonymic structure affects the text. All these different forms are shown to be one of the tools with which the author carried out his extraordinary research on vernacular language.

Il contributo è incentrato sulle proposizioni sinonime nella Commedia di Dante. Dopo aver illustrato il valore retorico di questa particolare costruzione sintattica (con l'ausilio dei primi studi critici fino ai più recenti), sono state analizzate le singole occorrenze, per mostrare i diversi modi con i quali la figura agisce nel testo.
