One of the main trends of contemporary Russian literature is literature originating from memory. Besides that, we also notice the significant presence of a great number of writers active in the web-space, where they compose their texts interacting with readers. In this article we will try to connect these two tendencies, focusing on the dialogue between L.S.Petrushevskaya’s biographical novel “A Little Girl from the Metropole Hotel” and a small corpus of posts selected from the writer’s Facebook page and written in 2019. The posts are based on the same themes we can find in the novel: memories of the writer’s life and the history of her family. The main interest of this work is how she returns to the same motifs in different contexts, the results of which could also have some impact on the translation of autobiographical themes in L.S.Petrushevskaya’s works.

Abstract
One of the main trends of contemporary Russian literature is literature originating from memory. Besides that, we also notice the significant presence of a great number of writers active in the web-space, where they compose their texts interacting with readers. In this article we will try to connect these two tendencies, focusing on the dialogue between L.S.Petrushevskaya’s biographical novel “A Little Girl from the Metropole Hotel” and a small corpus of posts selected from the writer’s Facebook page and written in 2019. The posts are based on the same themes we can find in the novel: memories of the writer’s life and the history of her family. The main interest of this work is how she returns to the same motifs in different contexts, the results of which could also have some impact on the translation of autobiographical themes in L.S.Petrushevskaya’s works.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
