Titoli giapponesi di film italiani: un possibile osservatorio sulle modalità traduttive applicate a questo genere testuale e sulla diffusione e ricezione della lingua e della cultura italiana in Giappone

In this paper, a corpus of 174 Japanese titles of Italian movies, here considered as lingua-cultural texts, is analysed as a possible ground to retrieve indirect infor­ mation both on pragmatic models of movie titles translation employed by Japanese distribution agencies and generai information about the diffusion and reception of Italian language and culture in Japan. Theoretical parameters to frame the discussion about title,film title and title translation are indicated at the beginning of this work.
