Das deutsche LBC-Korpus: Zusammenstellung und Anwendung

This paper describes the main features of the German LBC corpus, which was compiled within the research project Lessico multilingue dei Beni Culturali (LBC) and illustrates its possible applications. The paper is divided into four sections: Section 1 describes the theoretical frame of reference of the project and the LBC corpus. Section 2 illustrates the German LBC corpus, paying special attention to the selected text genres and authors and their selection criteria; it proposes also an evaluation of the current corpus configuration. Section 3 presents various possible applications of the corpus: The proposed applications are both intralingual and interlingual. Conclusion and outlook (Section 4) conclude the work.
