The work, consisting in two parts (volume I – learner’s book and volume II – teacher’s guide and solutions) aims on the one side at conveying textlinguistic theory. On the other side it aims at presenting an innovative way to apply it in language exercises, that can be made at the university or in the secundary school level. The book focusses on journalistic texts, that because of the relevance to the present and of the authencity of their language are much motivating and appreciated in foreign language learning classes. The theoretical part offers an introducion in the contrastive (German-Italian) Medienlinguistik; typical textlinguistical features of journalistic texts (headlines, lead; soft news, hard news; report, commentary…) are presented and explained with the help of well-known (text)linguistic concepts (recurrency, deixis, theme, thematic development…). The practical part presents different text examples (jounalistic articles) with exercises for A2-B1-B2 and C1 levels. The teacher’s guide offers didactic reflections and the solutions to all exercises of the student’s book.
Il volume rappresenta una elaborazione della proposta di Klaus Brinker (Linguistische Textanalyse, 2005, 6. ed.), modificata sulla scorta di contributi provenienti sia dall'ambito della Textlinguistik (p.es. Adamzik e Heinemann/Viehweger), sia dalla Medienlinguistik (p.es. Lüger, Bucher e Burger) e dalla Publizistikforschung (Mast). Sulla base del modello teorico così elaborato il volume offre poi una applicazione per l'insegnamento del tedesco ad italofoni in ambito accademico. Il volume si compone di due sezioni: la prima, teorica, è costituita da sei capitoli teorici; la seconda, applicativa, è costituita da esempi di analisi testuali suddivise per livello di competenza linguistica (cinque esercizi per ciascun livello: A2, B1, B2 e C1).
