Space in the physical and social Etruscan civilization The article analyzes the concept of space, as perceived and applied in the Etruscan civilization, from the city to the family, to the burial places and the relationship between the secular and religious powers. The basis of the article are the archaeological materials as well as historical sources from the Greeks and Romans. The article discusses the Etruscan architecture and its significance in the social contest. The essay follows the new interpretive theories, proposing new perspectives, in line with the methodology indicated by Mauro Cristofani. The essential bibliography indicates these new orientations.
