La fortuna di Pinocchio in Giappone, con particolare riferimento al fenomeno delle sue traduzioni

The paper traces the fortunes of Pinocchio in Japan, with particular reference to the phenomenon of its translations from Italian and intermediate languages. As an example of the evolution of Collodian studies in Japan and of translation approaches from Italian to Japanese, comparative examples are provided of some passages of Collodi's text translated by Kashiwaguma Tatsuo (1948 and 1950), Andō Mikio (1970) and Ōoka Akira (2003 and 2016), focusing on the analysis of the differences in the various versions that in some cases have been published over time by individual translators.
